On 4 February 2009, the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam issued Circular No. 22/2009/TT-BTC providing the new schedules of official fees with regard to the acquisition of industrial property rights in Vietnam. This new schedules of official fees will replace the schedules of official fees provided for by Circular No. 132/2004/TT-BTC dated 30 December 2004 as from 21 March 2009.

The new schedules increase some items, i.e. filing fee, priority claim fee, application amendment fee, etc. by 20%.
